Error codes

Mutating functions return ok, errorCode or ok, value, errorCode. Codes are plain strings from UgCore.Enums.Errors, typed as UgErrorCode. They are the only failure detail a client ever receives.

Enum	Value	Meaning
`InvalidArgs`	`invalid_args`	Arguments failed validation, or the action is not valid in the current state.
`NotFound`	`not_found`	The player, character, session or callback does not exist.
`NotLoaded`	`not_loaded`	The player has no loaded character.
`RateLimited`	`rate_limited`	Too many requests, or too many callbacks in flight.
`NoPermission`	`no_permission`	Missing ACE, a hook cancelled, a limit was reached, or the player is downed or dead.
`InsufficientFunds`	`insufficient_funds`	The account balance is too low.
`Timeout`	`timeout`	A callback got no answer in time.
`InternalError`	`internal_error`	A handler crashed or the database failed. Details are in the server console.

Errors that raise

Wrong API usage is a programmer error, not a result. It raises with a [ug-core] prefix and a trace pointing at your code:

[ug-core] Schema.String requires options with "max"
[ug-core] Hooks.Register: unknown hook "Acounts:BeforeAdd". Did you mean "Accounts:BeforeAdd"?
[ug-core] UgCore.Accounts belongs to disabled module "accounts". Enable it in config/modules.lua.
