Installation

Requirements

Download ug-lib-vX.Y.Z.zip from the releases and extract it into your resources folder, for example resources/[ug]/ug-lib.

The resource MUST be named ug-lib. Other resources reach it as @ug-lib/import.lua and exports['ug-lib'].

Building from source

The repository does not contain the built page. Build it once with Node.js 20.19 or newer:

cd resources/[ug]/ug-lib/web
npm ci
npm run build

The build goes to web/dist, which the manifest serves.

Start ug-lib before every resource that imports it:

server.cfg

ensure ug-lib
ensure ug-core
ensure my-shop

The server console prints:

[INFO] [ug-lib] Config: generated config/settings.lua.
[INFO] [ug-lib] Config: generated config/theme.lua.
[ug-lib] v1.0.0 · config loaded · 2 files

When a player joins, their F8 console prints:

[ug-lib] v1.0.0 ready (dark, en).
